Ann Mason

Ann Mason has a distinguished career in international education and political science, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for NAFSA: Association of International Educators since January 2019. Ann's experience includes positions as an Associate at Barton Carlyle since July 2018 and as a Program Director for the U.S.-Colombia Higher Education Partnership Initiative at the U.S. Department of State from November 2019 to November 2021. Ann co-founded the Mason Education Group, where Ann worked from July 2015 to December 2020, and previously held the role of Executive Director at Fulbright Colombia from January 2006 to June 2015. Ann's academic background includes a PhD in Political Science and an MA in International Relations from Yale University, complemented by a BS in Business Administration and Management from Georgetown University. Ann also held academic positions at Universidad de los Andes, including Professor and Chair of the Political Science Department from August 1998 to December 2005.
