LaNitra Berger is an Associate Professor at George Mason University since July 2010, where LaNitra also serves as the Director of the African and African American Studies Program and Senior Director of the Office of Fellowships. LaNitra is affiliated with the History and Art History Department and the Honors College. Berger is currently the NAFSA President and Chair of Board of Directors, previously working at NAFEO and the American Diabetes Association. LaNitra holds a M.A. and Ph.D. in Art History and African American Studies from Duke University.
