Rafael Marques

Rafael Marques started their career in 2010 as a waiter and worked in that role until 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they worked in procurement and logistics at Rafael Marques Unipessoal. In 2016, they worked as a call center technician at GROUPFIX N - Engenharia e Serviços, S.A. Rafael then worked as a locksmithing assistant at Serralharia FerroVerde in 2017. In 2019, they completed an internship in manufacturing and quality at BorgWarner Inc. and later worked as a maintenance engineer at Aptiv from 2019 to 2021. From 2021 to 2022, they worked at OCRAMclima® as a construction administration manager and budgeting professional for HVAC systems in the French market. Currently, they work as an R&D mechatronics engineer at Nagi Bioscience starting from 2022.

Rafael Marques has a diverse education history. Rafael started by completing their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering at Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Curso Superior de Tecnologia (CST) in Technologies and Information Systems Programming at the same institution from 2014 to 2016.

Before entering college, Rafael attended Escola Secundaria de Vila Verde from 2008 to 2012, where they focused on sciences and technology. Following their bachelor's degree, Rafael pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) with a specialization in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Control Engineering at Universidade do Minho from 2019 to 2022.

Additionally, Rafael is currently enrolled at Universidade do Minho, working towards another Master's degree in Mechatronics. The specific completion date for this degree is not provided.
