Benjamin Meier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Benjamin began their career as an Elektromonteur at Elektro Schmid AG in 1996. Benjamin then served as a Richtstrahlpionier and Sicherheitspionier in the Schweizer Armee in 2000. Following that, they worked as an IT System Administrator at eProduction AG, where they were responsible for configuring and operating heterogenous Windows networks and ensuring security. In 2003, they joined Lyreco Switzerland AG as an IT System Manager, overseeing the installation, configuration, and operation of client systems and peripherals, as well as project and sub-project management at a corporate level. From 2009, Benjamin became the Head of IT at Nagra - Nationale Genossenschaft für die Lagerung radioaktiver Abfälle, leading the IT infrastructure and support departments and driving the development of IT services in a strategic, conceptual, and operational capacity. Benjamin'smost recent position is serving as the Präsident of Antennengenossenschaft Dottikon, where they oversee the operation of a cable network and enables subscribers to access modern digital telecommunication and information services.

Benjamin Meier has a comprehensive education history with a focus on business and information systems management. In 2008, they graduated from WISS Schulen für Wirtschaft Informatik Immobilien, earning a diploma in Wirtschaftsinformatiker HF. In 2012, they attended HBU Höhere Berufsbildung Uster and obtained a diploma in Betriebswirtschafter HF NDS. In 2013, Benjamin pursued further education at The University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur, completing a MAS FH in Energiewirtschaft in 2013. Benjamin then attended the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW from 2016 to 2018, earning a MAS FH in Leadership und Change Management. Most recently, from 2020 to 2022, they pursued a MAS FH in Information Systems Management at the same institution, further specializing in cybersecurity, Geschäftsprozess Management, and IT Management.
