Walking into NAHATÉ feels less like entering a DIFC "concept" and more like arriving at a private estate. The name itself is a hidden reference co-founders Sam Florentsev and Jenya Makeeva kept for themselves — a nod to the kind of home where you’re always welcome. As partners in life and business, Sam and Jenya spent a decade in hospitality before opening this 1,100 sqm venue at the Capital Club. It is family-run and stays surprisingly intimate despite the scale. From 6 pm, the focus is on serious fine dining and "modern nomadic" flavors, but once the weekend hits, the mood shifts into a high-energy club that stays open as long as the crowd keeps dancing. The details here are intentional. You’ll find hand-embroidered Chinese silk corridors and real gold leaf at the entrance, leading to the Panther on the wall — the venue’s unofficial mascot. Even the uniforms have an edge, designed by Alina German, who has dressed icons like Lady Gaga and Johnny Depp. One standout is the Baccarat partnership, where history is served in crystal glasses made for the wife of Louis XV. That energy carries into the Red Room for private celebrations, while the Private Room offers a calm sanctuary for cigars that turns into an exclusive late-night party.
"More Than Home" is the actual mindset here. It is a place to be yourself in a setting that manages to be both grand and deeply private.
