Nahdet El Mahrousa (NM) is the first incubator for early-stage social enterprises in Egypt and the Middle East, and one of the few in the region supporting ventures from the idea stage, when early support is critical but often scarce. 

Since 2003, we’ve supported entrepreneurs, innovators, and civil society organizations working to solve Egypt’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. 

Our programs offer funding, tailored capacity building, business and technical consultations, and opportunities to access a growing network of 600+ startups, 150+ mentors, and partners across Egypt. 

Every service is built to meet founders where they are - flexible, context-specific, and grounded in 20+ years of experience. 

Beyond incubation, NM supports civil society organizations through targeted economic empowerment programs, and provides comprehensive legal, financial, HR, and marketing support services to founders through our in-house Business Support Unit (BSU). 

We also operate Garage El Mahrousa, a coworking and community hub in downtown Cairo where mission-driven founders can book rooms, host meetings, and grow their ideas in a space designed for impact.
