Michael Maggi

Michael Maggi, CFA, is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in credit analysis and investment management. Currently serving as a Credit Analyst III at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners since October 2018, Michael has progressed from previous roles, including Credit Analyst II, where responsibilities included corporate credit analysis across various industries. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Director and Associate at S&P Global Ratings, with a focus on the metals and mining sector. Michael founded Money by Maggi, providing research and consultancy services, and holds additional experience as an Investment Analyst at UBS Financial Services, where substantial client portfolios were managed. Early in the career, positions included Portfolio Administrator at Gabelli Asset Management and Private Wealth Management Intern at Merrill Lynch, alongside serving as an Investment Manager during academic tenure at Fairfield University, where a portion of the endowment was managed. Michael holds a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Fairfield University.
