Taylor Walker

Taylor Walker currently serves as the Chief of State Relations and Policy Advisor for Government Affairs at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) since August 2022. Prior to this role, Taylor held various positions at the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) from June 2017 to August 2022, including Senior Legislative Director and Legislative Director, where responsibilities included advocating for member companies, managing policymaking committees, and leading initiatives on innovation and technology in the insurance sector. Earlier experiences include a Policy Analyst and NAIC Coordinator at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP and Campaign Manager for Jim Cooper's congressional campaign. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Vanderbilt University.
