Nairn Construction Ltd is an award winning multi-disciplined civil engineering and construction company delivering projects from £1m to £4m across Scotland and Northern England, as principal contractor, design and build partner, and trusted supply chain partner to Tier 1 contractors.

Founded in 2016 and based in Lockerbie with a second office in Carlisle, we've grown from a small regional team to a business of around 30 people working across civil engineering, groundworks, substations and renewables, commercial and industrial construction, and local authority frameworks.

What sets us apart:

• Proven principal contractor and design and build delivery on complex, multi-phase projects, including three substation builds for ScottishPower Renewables, each for a different Tier 1 contractor

• Constructionline Gold accredited, Acclaim and Achillies SSIP, and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified, with five consecutive years of zero non-conformances

• Working towards BS 99001 compliance ahead of the Building Safety Act's wider requirements

• Winners of Dumfries & Galloway's Best Small/Medium Business award, 2024

• A genuine partnership approach: we work in step with clients, main contractors and design teams to keep programme, quality and safety on track

• A strong record on social value and community investment across the towns we work in

We work across civil engineering and infrastructure, energy and renewables, commercial and industrial construction, and residential development, with a growing pipeline of complex projects across the Central Belt, Dumfries & Galloway, and Cumbria.
If you're a Tier 1 contractor, developer or client looking for a principal contractor or design and build partner who delivers properly with an excellent health and safety record and high attention to detail get in touch.
