Barb Solish

Barb Solish is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategic roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the National Director of the Office of Innovation at NAMI since April 2019, Barb has held multiple key positions within the organization, including Director of Youth and Young Adult Initiatives and Director of External Communications. Previous roles include Deputy Campaign Manager and Communications Director for Steve Sisolak for Governor, Strategic Communications Manager at LA 2028, and West Regional Press Secretary at DCCC. Additional experience includes serving as Communications Director for both the Committee to Re-Elect Loretta Sanchez and the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as working in the Office of the Mayor of Los Angeles. Barb's early career includes roles in public relations, elections and recruitment at the University of Southern California, and a production internship at TV Guide. Barb holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Honors from the University of Southern California.
