Lorri Grainawi is currently serving as a Wheeling Township Trustee and is an advocate with Advocate for 708 since 2021. They have held the position of Director for the North Northwest Suburban Task Force on Supportive Housing for Individuals since 2015, working towards providing affordable supportive housing for those with serious mental illness. Additionally, Lorri has been a board member of NAMI since 2018. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology between 1982 and 1987.
