Rae Simpson

Rae Simpson is a mental health advocate and consultant specializing in enhancing public understanding of mental health issues. They have served as a board member for NAMI-Cambridge/Middlesex since 2013, where they advocate for mental health care reform and facilitate support groups. Rae has extensive experience in consulting for various organizations and has worked as a freelance writer focused on effective communication of mental health topics. They directed the Harvard Project on the Parenting of Adolescents while holding a long-term position at MIT, where they developed pivotal science writing programs. Currently, Rae is pursuing a PhD in communication research at Stanford University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and English from Pomona College.
