Asim Önál, PhD, is a Senior Synthetic & Materials Chemist at Nanoco Technologies Ltd and a PhD candidate at Koç University, where they engage in research at the Innovative Devices and Interfaces Laboratory (IDEALAB). Born in 1995 in Denizli, Asim completed their Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Yildiz Technical University in 2019. They gained valuable experience through internships at HABAS INC. and Ar-Döküm A.S., as well as a part-time role as a Production Engineer at TION Healthcare. Additionally, Asim held leadership positions with AIESEC, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills throughout their academic and professional journey.
