Jeff Arata has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2014 as a Classroom Assistant at a Kindergarten in Florence, Italy, followed by a Teacher's Assistant role at Dixon High School. In 2015, they began Self Education, completing projects such as room echo cancellation, adaptive filtering, FIR system identification, filter order delay/phase exploration, simple speech recognition, DTMF recognition, and multirate conversion in Matlab. Jeff also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis, collaborating closely with their PI to develop a research grade Matlab model. In 2018, they began working for Nanohmics as a Jr. Computational Scientist and for Genesis10 at Waymo (Google's Self Driving Car Project) as a Fleet Systems Operator - Contractor.
