Ilay Marom is currently the COO at NaNose Medical, overseeing the development process of medical products and conducting chemical and electrical tests on sensors. Additionally, he is the Founder and Co-CEO of Maigu, involved in product development from ideation to the final product. Previously, Marom served in the Israeli Navy as a Major, Senior Team Leader, Captain, and Lieutenant, commanding teams and mentoring sailors. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Haifa and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.

Nanose Medical electronic nose is based on innovative smart sensor array developed by Prof Haick at the Technion. The sensors respond to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) emitted in the exhaled breath, which are biomarkers for a variety of diseases.
