NanoSilical was created as start up and spin off of University of Calabria in 2014, by the 3 founders Prof. Luigi Paqua, Prof. Catia Morelli & Prof. Antonella Leggio. Over the years the company achieved excellent & recognized research results, getting the Seal of Excellence by the European commission & having the team’s articles published in prestigious magazines of science and medicine. 
Scientific research in healthcare applied nanotechnologies is indeed the key concept of NanoSilical. In the last years we could develop and patent an innovative technology, based on mesoporous nanoparticles of silica, with unique targeting features toward cancer cells. Through this technology, the anticancer drug can be conveyed smartly to cancer cells and be released properly without damaging healthy cells. We have ready the first product of our pipeline: the FOL-MSN-BTZ, where the folic acid has the targeting feature & bortezomib is the anticancer drug. 
We are now looking for financial resources for market landing and, along with it, for an entrepreneur, a startupper or a manager enough far-sighted & brave to embrace our vision & our passion for science!
