Michael Kavanagh

Michael Kavanagh is the CEO, President & Managing Director at Nanosonics. Michael has over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining Nanosonics, Michael was the SVP Global Marketing at Cochlear from May 2003 to October 2013. Michael was responsible for global product strategy, new product development, marketing communications and clinical research.

Before Cochlear, Michael was the Sales and Marketing Director at Pharmacia from January 2001 to December 2003. Michael was responsible for launching several new products and achieving record sales in 2002. Prior to Pharmacia, Michael was the Global Marketing Director at Parke Davis / Warner Lambert from July 1998 to September 2000.

Michael Kavanagh has an MBA from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Science from University College Dublin.
