Timothy Yu

Timothy Yu has a diverse work experience in various industries. Timothy most recently worked at Nansen as a Senior Operations Associate, where they demonstrated their skills and expertise in operations. Prior to that, they held a similar role at Nansen as an Operations Associate.

Before joining Nansen, Timothy worked at DBS Bank as a Wealth Planning Manager, where they gained experience in wealth management.

Timothy also interned at Bank of Singapore, Asia's Global Private Bank, as a Product Management Intern. During their time there, they were responsible for managing product due diligence and participated in key meetings to analyze potential product issues. Timothy conducted annual reviews for various products.

Additionally, Timothy served in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) as a Commando Leader. Timothy showcased strong leadership and communication skills, leading to recognition and selection for the Commando Section Leaders’ Course (CSLC). Timothy achieved notable accomplishments, such as leading their detachment to win Best Detachment during ATEC stage 1 and contributing to their formation's recognition as Best Combat Unit.

Timothy also gained early professional experience as an Account Executive Intern at Avenue One. In this role, they managed a diverse range of clients, including banks, government organizations, and smaller companies.

Timothy Yu began their education journey at Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) from 2008 to 2011, where they received their 'O' Level Certification. From 2012 to 2015, they attended Singapore Polytechnic, focusing on Mass Communication/Media Studies. Timothy then advanced their studies at the University of London from 2017 to 2020, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with Second Class Honours (Upper Division).
