Albert Lim

Director, School of Design at Nanyang Polytechnic

Albert Lim is the current Director of the School of Design at Nanyang Polytechnic. Albert has been in this role since April 2016. Prior to that, they were the Deputy Director of the School of Interactive & Digital Media at Nanyang Polytechnic from January 1992 to April 2016.

Albert Lim has a Master of Arts in Research from Queensland University of Technology, a Film Production degree from Vancouver Film School, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University. Albert is certified in Art of Leadership by Dr Dean Williams, President of The Leader’s Compass, former professor at Harvard and Director of the Global Change Agent Program and author of Real Leadership and Leadership for a Fractured World. Albert is also certified in Service Innovation by Design from Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne and has completed the IFTF Foresight Essentials, Forecasting Skills: See the Future Before it Happens, and Ready, Set, Future! Introduction to Futures Thinking courses from the Institute for the Future. Finally, they have an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certification from IBM.

Albert Lim reports to Jeanne Liew, Principal & CEO. They work with Phua Chee Teck - Director, National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning, Melvyn Suan - Director, Centre for Industry & Lifelong Learning, and Chai Kuek Heng - Director, Student Care & Guidance.
