Markus Tompuri

Markus Tompuri has extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as Account Director for Ferry at NAPA since April 2011, where responsibilities include coordinating business activities and customer needs, overseeing sales and revenue, and developing long-term client relationships. Prior roles include Chief Stability Officer, overseeing ship stability regulations and advocating for client interests, and Senior Technical Consultant, providing expertise in ship stability rules and supporting the Safety solutions business. Markus also has a background as a Research Engineer focusing on ship stability and safety, and early experience as a software developer and master thesis worker at STX Finland. Markus holds a Master of Science degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Aalto University, completed in 2013.
