Robert Cyphers

Robert Cyphers has over 20 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Robert began their career as a Senior Systems Engineer at FORE Systems/Marconi, where they provided end-to-end solutions design and consulting services to carrier customers. Robert then joined Telcove as a Manager, Data Products Engineering, where they managed an engineering team responsible for product engineering, network architecture design, project management, and operations support. Robert also engineered and implemented network infrastructure for large-scale service deployments. After Telcove, they worked as a Director of Product Management at Level 3 Communications, where they played a key role in product development. Robert later served as a Product Line Manager at ECI Telecom, focusing on managing product lines. Following that, they worked at Netronome as a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer, developing proof-of-concept demonstrations and creating technical training materials. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at Napatech, where they continue to contribute their technical expertise.

Robert Cyphers has a diverse education background. Robert completed their Master of Science in Information Administration (MBA) program at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Additionally, they hold a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications from the University of Pittsburgh.

In terms of certifications, Robert has obtained various Coursera Course Certificates, including "Introduction to Data Science in Python" in November 2016, "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" in August 2016, "Algorithmic Toolbox" in April 2016, "Principles of Computing" in August 2014, and "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python" in December 2013. Robert also completed the "Introduction to Computer Science and Programming" course from MITx in June 2013. Furthermore, Robert is recognized as a Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional (CECP) by the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF), although specific dates for this certification are not provided.
