David Weston

David Weston is the current Head of Risk & Compliance at Napier. David has over 25 years of experience in risk management and compliance, having worked at various companies including Whitedot Skis Limited, SABB, and HSBC Global Banking and Markets. David was responsible for establishing & developing a robust & proactive global risk management discipline of ~80 risk professionals at HSBC Global Banking and Markets, covering all functions involved in client onboarding / management both onshore and at our offshore centres with heavy focus on ensuring effective client due diligence (CDD) is undertaken and financial crime risk is managed within the firm's associated risk appetite.

David Weston attended the University of Surrey, where they studied mechanical engineering, and then went on to study at Wellington College in Sandhurst.

Their manager is Julian Dixon, CEO. They are on a team with Greg Watson - COO, Cian Harrington - Global Head of Client Transformation, and Robin Lee - Head of APAC.
