Fai Chan

Fai Chan has worked in the tech industry since 2008. In that time, they have held several positions of increasing responsibility. From 2008 to 2015, they were a Staff Software Engineer at Harmonic, where they invented the Packaging-On-The-Fly Architecture for OTT Software Video Packager and served as the Technical Team Lead. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Co-Founder, Director, and CTO of Appcider, where they invented the cloud-based ERP product CloudERP. From 2017 to 2022, they were the Co-Founder, Director, and CTO of ShipAny, where they invented the award-winning logistic automation platform and integrated APIs with upstream eCommerce apps and domestic and international logistics couriers systems. Currently, they are the Lead Backend Engineer at Napo Pet Insurance.

Fai Chan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong between 2003 and 2006. Fai then went on to earn a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Computer Science and Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong between 2006 and 2008. In 2017, Fai Chan obtained the Alibaba Cloud Certified Professional - ACP Cloud Computing certification from Alibaba Cloud. In 2022, they obtained the EF SET English Certificate 77 / 100 (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test (EF SET).
