NAPTA is a non-profit organization championing the transformation of the public transport sector in Kenya through research, innovation, training, advocacy and investments.

To help build a transportation system that fosters economic vitality, advances social equity, conserves the environment, and improves the quality of life for all.
Our Mission
To shape public debate on critical transportation issues and build an innovative network of transportation professionals with a view to helping this sector progress from a social, economic and technical point of view, for the benefit of all players concerned public and private, particularly but not exclusively by:
(a)	Promoting the improved mobility of people on an national scale;
(b)	Being the national network of collective transport professionals;
(c)	Being the point of reference for knowledge on collective transport;
(d)	Being the national forum in the area of transport policy; and
(e)	Advocating for collective transport
Our Programs:
Research: We conduct research and independent analysis on critical transportation issues.
Innovation: We act as a hub of an extensive network of innovative transportation professionals and leaders 
Training: We translate our research into on-the ground knowledge and action and pilot new strategies.
Advocacy: Encourage government to adopt policy reforms and implement best practices.
Investments: Mobilize resources for onward investment in innovative transportation solutions.
