David E. Root

Dr. Root received his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, after which he went on to serve 20 years in the United States Air Force retiring with the rank of Colonel as Chief Flight Surgeon and Senior Pilot.

In addition to his medical training, he received a Master’s Degree in Public Health from John Hopkins University. Dr. Root is certified by the American Board of Preventative Medicine in Occupational and Aerospace Medicine.
