Rohit S. Adi

Born in Baroda, India, Rohit received his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Baroda in Gujarat India, followed by residency in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He became medical staff at Palmerton Hospital after which he opened a private practice in Slatington, Pennsylvania.

In 1993, he relocated his family to Louisiana and became licensed with the Louisiana Board of State Medical Examiners as a Medical Doctor. He fell in love with the culture of Louisiana as an Emergency Room Physician at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette, Louisiana from 1992 to 1993. Transferring from Our Lady of Lourdes in 1993, he began an impressive tenure at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in the Emergency Room which continues to this day. In 1996, he became certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

He was the Medical Director of the Our Lady of the Lake College Paramedic Program as well as the Medical Director for the National Academy of Emergency Health Services. From 1996 to 2011, he was the Assistant Medical Director of Emergency Medicine at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
