Derek Lam

Derek Lam is a skilled software engineer with a background in infrastructure and application development. Currently serving as Software Engineer II at Narmi since April 2021, Derek contributes to the infrastructure team using AWS, Terraform, and Ansible, focusing on monitoring and site reliability. Previously, as Software Engineer I at Chronos from 2020 to April 2021, Derek developed a cross-platform desktop application using the Electron framework in a Node.js environment, allowing users to monitor node microservice servers in real time. Derek holds a degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA, with a research-intensive focus.
