Allison Kennedy

Allison Kennedy has worked in the tech industry since 2011. Allison began their career as a Web Design Intern at Seattle Pacific University, where they designed and developed SPU emails with HTML and CSS, and built web pages for the SPU website using the Sitecore CMS. Allison then worked as an Administrative Assistant, developing strong communication and organizational skills by managing the front desk and completing various clerical tasks for 30+ faculty and staff members at SPU's graduate school of psychology. In 2014, Kennedy joined meltmedia as an Associate Front End Developer, and was later promoted to Front End Developer, Supervisor. During this time, they grew familiar with the company culture and learned how to use the applications and technologies at meltmedia. In 2020, Kennedy joined NarrativeWave as Manager of UI/UX Development, where they oversee the new department and designs high-fidelity prototypes for new user experiences. Allison also maintains and contributes to the organization of the front end codebase including file structure, code reusability, and modular/global styling.

Allison Kennedy has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Seattle Pacific University, which they earned between 2010 and 2014. Her major was Visual Communication, and their minors were New Media, Art Allison'story, and Visual Studies. Allison also holds a High School Diploma from Seattle Preparatory School, which they earned between 2006 and 2010. In addition, they have four certifications from Acquia and Veeva Systems, which they obtained between 2019 and 2020.
