Anisa Kumar

Anisa Kumar is the Chief Customer Officer at Narvar. Prior to their current position, they served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of US Direct to Consumer at Levi Strauss & Co. from August 2014 to November 2021. In this role, they led US direct to consumer including mainline and outlet stores, ecommerce and digital marketplaces, delivering exponential scalable growth and a seamless consumer and brand experience.

Before their time at Levi Strauss & Co., Kumar served as Senior Director of Operations at Walmart.com from October 2008 to July 2014. In this role, they led functions in the areas of Inbound Transportation, Inventory Allocation and Planning, 3rd party Logistics, Fulfillment Center Network and Channel Strategy, Supply Chain Systems and Optimization, Direct ship vendor programs and Walmart.com’s multichannel supply chain program (ship from store program).

During their time at Walmart.com, Kumar made several notable accomplishments, including leading the design, development and roll out of the future e-commerce network for WM.com, envisioning, evaluating and laying out the systems solution for Walmart.com’s supply chain of the future, and leading the multichannel fulfillment function using stores and fulfillment centers together to leverage Walmart’s supply chain. Anisa also drove analytics and optimization algorithms to optimize the allocation process thereby getting inventory to the customer quicker and resulting in a better customer experience as well as P&L savings.

Anisa Kumar has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, Davis - Graduate School of Management, with a focus in finance and marketing. Anisa also has a Master of Science from the University of Mumbai in genetic engineering/biotechnology, and a Bachelor of Science from St. Xavier's College in life sciences.
