Michael Wagner has been a Detective Constable with the Ontario Provincial Police since April 1997, serving in various specialized roles within the Criminal Investigation Branch, Investigation Support Bureau, and Hate Crime Extremism Section. Wagner has significant expertise in overseeing technical operations to support investigations, leading multi-jurisdictional operations focused on countering terrorism and extremism, and collaborating with provincial and federal agencies. In addition to law enforcement duties, Wagner also serves as an Official with NASCAR, coordinating operations for events in the NASCAR Canada Series, and as the Driver/Owner of Wagner Motorsports, which was established in 2001. Educational credentials include training from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, the Canadian Police College, and the Ontario Provincial Police Academy.
