Nick Rend

Nick Rend serves as the Vice President of Interactive and Emerging Platforms and Managing Director of Gaming and Esports at NASCAR, beginning this role in January 2021. Rend has led numerous collaborations and projects, including NASCAR x Real Racing 3, NASCAR Arcade Rush, and NASCAR’s Twitch Channel launch. Previous experiences include Head of Sports and Media at Newzoo and various senior roles at NASCAR from 2005 to 2018, focusing on consumer innovation, licensing, and business development. Rend's background also includes a position at May Merchandising Company and completion of a rigorous Merchant Executive Apprentice program at Hecht's Department Stores. Educational credentials include a B.A. in Rhetoric and Communication from the University of Pittsburgh.
