Tim Southers is an experienced professional in the motorsport industry, currently serving as Director of Guest Services and Track Marketing for NASCAR in the Mid-Atlantic Region since May 2020. Prior to this role, Tim held the position of Director of Communications at Martinsville Speedway from September 2019 to May 2020 and worked as NASCAR PR Manager at Motorsport Network from October 2016 to September 2019. Tim's career in public relations began at NASCAR in January 2009, focusing on Integrated Marketing Communications and Strategic Media Outreach until 2016. Additional experience includes roles as Media Relations Manager at Bulldawg Marketing and General Manager at Tri-County Motor Speedway, along with being Director of Media/Public Relations for the USAR - Hooters ProCup Series. Tim graduated with a Bachelor of Science in History from Appalachian State University and attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
