Benson Lam is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Nasdaq since April 2021, Benson previously held key positions at Thomson Reuters, including Director of Technology and Director of Analytics Core Platform Development. Benson's tenure at TMX Group spanned over 15 years, where significant contributions included leading the development of the award-winning Quantum XA Framework and managing trading engine projects. Earlier career roles included Senior Java Consultant at Xerox Architecture Center and Senior Java Developer/Team Lead at Borderfree Inc. Benson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and furthered education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
