Daniel Cantu

Daniel Cantu is currently the Associate Vice President and Principal Associate General Counsel at Nasdaq, specializing in federal securities law and regulation. Previously, they served as Senior Legal Counsel at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, where they led investigations into financial fraud and violations of securities laws. Daniel has also held positions at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, providing legal representation in complex securities litigation, and was a Judicial Law Clerk for the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. They hold a JD from the University of Chicago, a Master of Public and International Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School, and a BA in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
