Daniel Carrigan

Daniel Carrigan has extensive experience in the financial services sector, primarily focusing on digital assets, market strategy, and business development. Since July 2008, Carrigan has held various roles at Nasdaq, including Digital Assets Strategy & Business Development, where responsibilities include executing growth strategies for the digital assets ecosystem and developing SEC/CFTC regulated markets. As a co-founder of Nasdaq's Digital Assets business unit, Carrigan played a crucial role in facilitating institutional participation in digital assets by creating trusted products. Previous positions include Chief Executive Officer at EXECUTION ACCESS, LLC, President of NASDAQ Futures Exchange, and Chief Compliance Officer at International Derivatives Clearinghouse. Previously, experience includes roles at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, OneChicago, Newedge, and Finacor Vendome, with significant leadership in product development and regulatory compliance. Carrigan holds a Master of Science in Organizational Management and Leadership from Thomas Edison State University and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
