David Cook

David Cook is the Head of Clearing Risk at Nasdaq, a position held since 2023. Prior to this, they managed market risk for structured rates products at Barclays Capital from 2008 to 2009 and served as a risk manager focusing on EMEA CVA and market risk capital at Morgan Stanley from 2017 to 2020. Earlier in their career, Cook worked on stress testing for various regions and product types at Nomura and was part of the global scenarios and stress testing team at Credit Suisse from 2014 to 2016. Cook holds degrees in Industrial Engineering and Investment & Financial Risk Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Cass Business School, respectively.
