Gerard Smith

Gerard Smith is the Head of Post Trade Solutions at Nasdaq, where they currently lead product strategy. Previously, Gerard served as VP, Head of Product for Digital Assets at Nasdaq and held various roles, including SVP of Post Trade Business Development at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited and Senior Business Analyst at LCH.Clearnet. They began their career with a role as Head of Business Analysis at CMC Markets and also contributed to the Bank of England's TARGET project. Gerard was an active leader as President of the Student Union at London South Bank University, where they completed their BA and MA degrees. In 2021, they took a sabbatical to study, travel, and volunteer.
