Michelle Daly

Michelle Daly serves as Senior Vice President, Controller and Principal Accounting Officer. With more than 20 years of experience in a range of senior accounting, corporate treasury, and financial reporting leadership roles, Michelle leads a global team of accounting and tax professionals and is responsible for all areas of the company’s accounting, analysis, disclosure, and financial reporting. In addition, Michelle oversees Nasdaq’s financial advisory office, global accounting operations and tax teams.

Prior to joining Nasdaq, Michelle was Managing Director and Deputy Controller at BlackRock, which followed a decade-long tenure at Goldman Sachs, where she served as a Managing Director and head of SEC reporting, and also spent time within the firm’s corporate treasury department. Michelle began her career in the audit practice at Ernst & Young LLP and holds a BS in Accounting from Villanova University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
