Jim Rand is a seasoned professional in the restaurant industry with over 40 years of experience, having held various operations leadership roles for more than three decades. Early in their career, Jim gained valuable hands-on experience with companies like Au Bon Pain and Panera Bread, where they successfully opened and managed 27 Panera Bakery Cafes as a Franchisee in Minnesota. Following their franchise success, Jim served as Vice President of Catering at Panera, leading significant sales growth initiatives, and later developed off-premises dining strategies at P.F. Chang's. Currently, Jim is the Founder and CEO of Rand Parker Group, as well as the Founder of CaterStrat, providing strategic advice to restaurant brands. Jim is also engaged in Catering Business Development at Nash. They are a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison and proudly support their alma mater as a dedicated Badger fan.
