Jonathan Chinitz

Jonathan Chinitz has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Jonathan is currently working at Nasuni as a Principal Product Manager. Prior to joining Nasuni, Jonathan held various roles at Hitachi Vantara, including Product Manager for Hitachi Content Intelligence, Technical Product Manager for Cloud and Mobility Services, and Technical Evangelist for the File & Content Services Team. Earlier in their career, they worked at Archivas Inc. as the Director of Application Engineering and at Secured Services Inc. as a Director. Jonathan also served as the Executive Vice President at VASCO Data Security and as the President/Founder of IntelliSoft. Jonathan began their career as a Consultant at OSF and OpenGroup.

Jonathan Chinitz completed their education at Boston University, where they obtained a Masters degree in Computer Science from 1987 to 1989. Prior to that, they attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1980 to 1983, and earned a B. Sc. in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Jonathan has also obtained several certifications, including "Think like a Relevance Engineer (Solr)" from OpenSource Connections in 2020, "Optimal Product Management and Product Marketing" from 280 Group in 2019, and "AWS Technical Essentials" and "AWS Technical Professional" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019.
