Heidi McIntosh

Heidi McIntosh is an accomplished Chief Operating Officer, actively leading operations for an organization that enhances the professional development of social workers. Previously, Heidi served as CEO of First Place for Youth, where they managed strategy and operations for a nonprofit serving at-risk youth, and as a Senior Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under the Obama Administration. With a dedicated focus on policy development and collaborative leadership, they have extensive experience in fostering innovation and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion across various sectors. Heidi currently pursues a Master of Social Work and holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut.
