Michaela Hickey

Michaela Hickey currently serves as a Delivery Manager at Natcap since October 2025. Prior to this role, Michaela worked as a Senior Capabilities and Insights Analyst at McKinsey & Company from March 2021 to October 2024, and held various positions at Vivid Economics, including Project Manager and Project Coordinator, from November 2018 to July 2021. Michaela's earlier experience includes a role as a Research and Projects International Volunteer for Street Child of Nepal in 2018, where significant contributions were made to human rights research and project support. Michaela also acted as President of JETAA Auckland from January 2017 to January 2018 and worked as an Operations Planner at TigerTurf Asia Pacific during the same year, managing operations for multiple teams. Michaela started a career in education as an Assistant Language Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program from August 2014 to August 2015. Michaela holds a Master of Professional Studies in International Relations and Human Rights from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Otago.
