Mark Calhoun

Mark Calhoun, PhD, currently serves as Associate Director for GU, Breast, and Heme Oncology MSLs at Natera, a position held since June 2021. Prior roles at Natera included managing Medical Science Liaison teams in both oncology and genitourinary oncology. From August 2020 to June 2021, Mark was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where educational plans and a specialized neuro-oncology mini-module were developed. Mark completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University from August 2017 to August 2020, focusing on neuro-engineering under the guidance of Dr. Ravi Bellamkonda. Earlier experience includes a Pelotonia Graduate Fellowship at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where significant analytical work on tumor biology was conducted, alongside a series of collaborative research projects. Mark holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
