Born out of founder Nathan’s frustration with traditional gum (mystery “gum base,” synthetic ingredients, and zero real benefits), he set out to create something better: gum that actually supports oral health.

After nearly two years of research, testing, and reformulation with dental experts and food scientists, he developed a clean, functional gum made from natural ingredients like hydroxyapatite (for enamel), minerals, mint oil, myrrh gum, and cavity-fighting xylitol.

At the heart of Underbrush is our natural gum base:
- Mastic gum from Greece for antibacterial support
- Spruce gum wild-foraged in North America
- Chicle gum sustainably harvested in Central America
