David Lenaghan

David Lenaghan is currently the Innovation Lead at National Grid, where they manage the Innovation Portfolio for the System Operator. Prior to this role, David served as an Engineer focused on National Transmission Planning from 1999 to 2010, as well as a Senior Forecasting Analyst responsible for short-term Wind Power Forecasts. David has also contributed to the community as a volunteer, holding positions as Chairman and Secretary at the IET from 2003 to 2010. They earned a BSc MEng in electrical and electronic engineering from The University of Manchester from 1994 to 1999.
