Jonathan Silver

Jonathan Silver is a Non-executive Director at National Grid. Prior to this, they were a Visiting Distinguished Senior Fellow at Third Way, researching and writing on energy policy and energy finance. Jonathan has also served as a Board Member for Peridot Acqusition Corp and Plug Power, and as Managing Partner for Tax Equity Advisors LLC. In addition, they have been a Senior Advisor to the management of numerous clean economy service providers, and Executive Director of the Loan Programs Office at the U.S Dept of Energy.

Jonathan Silver did their doctoral work in economics and public policy at the Graduate Insititute of International Studies. Jonathan also has a C.E.P. from Public Policy from Sciences Po and a BA - honors from Government from Harvard University.
