Matthew Root is the Lead Environmental Scientist at National Grid and has over 25 years of experience in environmental consulting. Previously, Root has held positions such as Senior Environmental Scientist at Envirospec Engineering and Marine Environmental, and has served as Deputy Director of Environmental Remediation. They are proficient in various areas of regulatory compliance, environmental assessments, and project management. Currently, Root is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy and Management at the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry.
