Phyllis Wall, PE, serves as the Manager of Underground Transmission Engineering at National Grid since July 2021, where leadership of a skilled engineering team focuses on designing high-ampacity circuits and addressing third-party interference issues. With prior experience as an Overhead Transmission Line Engineer from August 2009 to November 2015, Phyllis managed engineering for overhead transmission projects and provided construction support for significant rebuild initiatives. Previously, as a Senior/Lead Transmission Engineer, responsibility included the engineering and design of underground transmission lines up to 345 kV. Phyllis holds a Master of Engineering in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
