Lawrence Hing

Lawrence Hing is a Senior Legal and Compliance Executive currently serving as the Director of Compliance and Senior Counsel at National MI. With a robust history in public reporting companies and financial services, Lawrence has built and implemented diverse compliance and legal programs while contributing to major outcomes in crisis management and litigation. Prior to this role, Lawrence held key positions including Chief Compliance Officer at Mission Creek Capital Partners and Chief Compliance and Executive Officer at WHV Investment Management, where they successfully launched multiple mutual funds. Lawrence began their legal career at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, gaining substantial expertise in securities law and corporate governance. They hold a JD in Securities Law from New York University School of Law and an MBA in Corporate Strategy from the University of California, Berkeley.
