Lisbeth Imer is a senior researcher at the National Museum of Denmark, where they focus on historic inscriptions, particularly runes and Roman letters, with an emphasis on their role in prehistoric societies. Since 2014, they have also served as chairman of the Censorkorps for forhistorisk arkæologi. Previously, Lisbeth was a PhD student at the National Museum of Denmark from 2004 to 2007, researching North European runic inscriptions from the Iron and Viking Ages. They earned a degree in Prehistoric Archaeology from Københavns Universitet from 1994 to 2003.
